The experienced Captain Kyriakos, will present you the traditional way of fishing in Santorini, like his grandfather and his father presented it to him.

He will narrate to you fascinating stories of the old fishermen.

This unique experience will connect you with the culture of Santorini in the most original way.

The Captain

Captain Kyriakos is the 3rd generation and comes from a traditional fishing family.

His grandfather Kyriakos was a fisherman, his father Antonis was a fisherman and now, Captain Kyriakos at his 67 years, having so many experiences in the sea, continues the family tradition

He is also the president of the Santorini's, Anafi's and Thirassia's professional fishermen for the last 45 years.

The Boat

The boat is a traditional winch, called FLORA and is a jewel of its kind.

It is 12 meters long, wooden, comfortable and spacious with a heavy duty machine weighing 2 tons.

Discover our Tours

Flora starts from Vlychada's fishing shelter, towards the fishnet which was thrown in the water at the early hours of the day. After we lift it up all together and collect the fishes, we can throw it again in the water if you want.

After that, we pass from the Red and White beach, Mesa Pigadia (Indian) and we arrive to the Volcano and Hot Springs, as long as weather permits it.

If not, we continue with our alternative locations, Perissa and Kamari.

At the volcano, while you are swimming, we will be preparing the fish that we caught, alongside with traditional food of Santorini and unlimited refreshments, wine and beers.

At the end of the meal, a surprise from the captain awaits you, which will make the tour unique and special.
